Job Description

RARiS invites applications to join its Radioactive-isotope Science Laboratory within the Division of Electron Photon Science. The successful candidate will play a central role in experimental research in nuclear physics and related fields, utilizing the cornerstone facility of RARiS: the high-intensity electron accelerator. As a Joint Usage/雷速体育_中国足彩网￥在线直播 Center, it is open to researchers from all across Japan, serving as a hive of collaborative activity.

Duties for this permanent professor position will include the following:

• Leading a broad range of studies in nuclear physics
• Actively contributing to the management of the center
• Promoting joint usage and collaborative research activities
• Maintaining a concurrent position in the Department of Physics, Graduate School of Science, Tohoku University
• Contributing to human resource development through undergraduate and graduate education

Qualifications

• A relevant PhD degree
• A sufficient level of Japanese and English communication skills to perform tasks adequately
