Katahira Campus is home to a wide variety of trees that have been part of Tohoku University's long history.

This spring, the university's Center for Academic Resources and Archives is organizing a special campus tour, to introduce the historical background of Katahira campus as well as its magnificent trees.

There are two sessions to choose from - one in the morning and one in the afternoon - led by assistant professors Motonari Ohyama and Takuro Ito of the Tohoku University Botanical Gardens.

At the end of each session, there will be refreshments and an opportunity to socialize with other participants and ask the lecturers questions.
