Taipei Tech and Tohoku University will hold a Memorial Joint Symposium from November 24-26 at Tohoku University's Sakura Hall.
On 25th November, the 2011 Nobel Prize Laureate, Dan Shechtman will give a plenary lecture from 14:30. Following the lecture, a ceremony and dinner to commemorate An-Pang Tsai Memorial Ceremony and Memorial Dinner will be held in Japanese. An-Pang Tsai sadly passed away in May 2019. He taught at Tohoku University and was a leader in the field of quasicrystal and complex intermetallic research.
Registration to attend the event is required in advance online.
