Events

This international symposium, hosted by the Tohoku Forum for Creativity, will bring together scientists from different fields (physicists, engineers, geologists, geomicrobiologists and more) to discuss the connectivity of their work and to look for solutions to shared scientific questions.

Participants will aim to create new knowledge and insights into the nature and processes occurring inside the Earth, in the hopes of better understanding our place in the solar system, the links from the core to the atmosphere, and the connections between the biosphere and geosphere through time.

This event is part of the Tohoku Forum for Creativity's thematic programme on the topic of "Frontier of Understanding Earth's Interior and Dynamics." It aims to build and grow a community of interdisciplinary scientists by identifying new approaches to critical problems in earth sciences.
