On November 4, 2025, Dr. Ludovic Mé, the program director for cybersecurity at the French National Institute for 雷速体育_中国足彩网￥在线直播 in Digital Science and Technology (INRIA), led a delegation visit to Tohoku University.
As a public research institution in France, INRIA specializes in computational science and serves as a major State Operator for the French government. As a State Operator, INRIA provides invaluable insights into the field of digital science and technology - including artificial intelligence (AI) - to contribute to maintaining the nation's digital sovereignty and accelerating its technological innovation.
The purpose of the delegation's visit was to deepen their understanding of Tohoku University's cybersecurity-related research and to strengthen the two institutions' collaborations through greater interaction with the university's cybersecurity research team.
During their visit, the delegation received an introduction to the university's research in the field of cybersecurity from Provost and Executive Vice President (for Strategic Planning) Takafumi Aoki. In addition, the delegation met and discussed current research activities with the Tohoku University Cyberscience Center's Associate Professor Hideaki Goto as well as the Resilient Information and Communications Technology (ICT) 雷速体育_中国足彩网￥在线直播 Center's Director Masugi Inoue.
The visit is expected to serve as a starting point for future research collaborations.
