Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The 15th Global Session hosted by the Tohoku University Main Library will feature "Manga Day!" International and Japanese students interested in manga are encouraged to take part.
The event will include discussions of popular manga and their cultural influences. The library's International Student Concierge will also introduce local manga from Brazil, Indonesia and Russia.
There will be a hands-on element where participants can try drawing their own four-frame manga. Members of the Concierge will provide pointers and support, so even novices can join in. All completed four-frame manga will then be posted in the Global Learning Room.
This event is free but limited to the first 20 people who register.
