Tohoku University's Noh Club will give a matinee performance of classical Noh theater at the Kitayama Community Center on November 29.
Noh drama is the oldest surviving form of Japanese theater, performed since the 14th century. The highly stylized dance-based performance incorporates masks, traditional Japanese instruments and musical duets, on a pared down, minimalist stage.
It's a rare opportunity to see this unique art form, so bring your friends and family. Entrance is free.
