Events

It's that time of year for carols and cheers. So in keeping with the holiday spirit, the 20th Aobayama Concert will feature a selection of classical and Christmas music performed by Tohoku University's multi-talented students, faculty and staff.

To add to the festivities this year, there will also be a special performance of Chopin's Piano Concerto No.1 and Beethovan's Symphony No. 9 with an orchestra and chorus.

The event will be held on December 20 and, as always, there will be two sessions - a short lunchtime show and a full-length concert in the evening. Both sessions are free and open to all.

Date: December 20, 2024
Afternoon session: 12:10 - 1 p.m. (doors open at 11:40 a.m.)
Evening session: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. (doors open at 5 p.m.)

Venue: Lobby of Aoba Memorial Hall, Aobayama Campus (map)
Open to the public, registration not required.
