After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ever-popular Tohoku University International Festival is back!
Come on down to Kawauchi campus on October 2 for some outdoor fun at the 35th International Festival, held jointly with celebrations marking Tohoku University's 115th anniversary. This year's festival theme is "Reunion of Cultures."
Organized by the International Festival Students Organizing Committee and with help from the Tohoku University Foreign Students Association (TUFSA), this event will be a great opportunity for students, staff, alumni and local residents to come together to experience different cultures.
There will be food stalls selling delicacies from around the world, a stage featuring cultural performances and various interactive booths.
Entrance to the festival is free but tickets are required for food. Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue on the day itself. Early Bird Tickets offer a small discount.

Time: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Venue: Tohoku University Centennial Hall / Kawauchi Hagi Hall (Map)Please note that parking is limited, so please come by public transport if possible. The nearest subway stations are Kawauchi Station or International Center Station
