Events

To celebrate its 115th anniversary and the centenary of the Faculty of Arts and Letters, Tohoku University is hosting a get-together this December, for members of the university's international alumni community as well as current students, faculty and staff.

Unlike previous Alumni Network events, which had to be held online due to COVID-19 prevention protocols, this year-end get-together will be in a hybrid format with both in-person and online options.

A highlight of the event will be the presentation of the inaugural Tohoku University International Award and International Alumni Association Award. There will also two panel discussions on the activities and impact of Tohoku University's alumni abroad.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage and network with fellow alumni, catch up with former professors, and get the latest university news.
