To celebrate Greenery Day, the Tohoku University Botanical Gardens is holding an open day on May 4. Admission to the gardens and events held throughout the day, are free to the public.

Guided tour of the gardens
Meeting place: By the Japanese elm tree in front of the main building
Note: Participants are to be comfortably dressed with long trousers and sports shoes

Morning trek: 9:30am - 11:00am
Afternoon trek: 1:30pm - 3:00pm (the afternoon tour is the easier walk)
