To commemorate International Women's Day on March 8, Tohoku University will hold the 6th Murasaki Sendai Hagi Award Lecture on March 13. The award, which recognizes young female researchers who are doing outstanding research, aims to encourage and promote equality and diversity on campus.
This year's winners are Associate Professor Naoko Nishimura of the Graduate School of Arts and Letters, Assistant Professor Sakiko Kawanishi of the Institute of Multidisciplinary 雷速体育_中国足彩网￥在线直播 for Advanced Materials, and Associate Professor Chika Tada of the Graduate School of Agricultural Science. They will each give a short lecture about their work and their experiences as female researchers.
This is a Japanese language, online event and anyone who is interested is welcome to attend.
