Tohoku University's Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering seeks to appoint an associate professor capable of teaching, researching, and publishing on studies that pioneer new fluid energy applications incorporating fundamental thermofluid physics.
Responsibilities will include:
- Teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level
- Directing research projects that lead to MS and PhD theses
- Setting up innovative research projects in collaboration with other researchers
Successful candidates will be affiliated with the Fluid Mechanics Group. The group engages in research that centers on engineering innovative manufacturing methods and accident/disaster prevention. It simultaneously focuses on the elucidation of multiphysics phenomena related to flow, heat, and mass transports.
