Job Description

Responsibilities for this role include developing advanced material structure measurement techniques using X-rays and other relevant fundamental research. Specifically, advancing X-ray structural analysis methods using X-ray free-electron lasers, high-brightness X-rays from a 4th generation synchrotron radiation facility, and laboratory X-ray sources are research topics of focus. This focus also includes capturing ultrafast phenomena, visualizing charge density distributions, and measuring materials under special conditions.

Qualifications

• Possess or be expected to possess a doctoral degree (Ph.D.)
• Basic Japanese communication skills (at minimum)
