Job Description

The mission of this laboratory is to develop better watershed environments that benefit human society by applying hydrological theory to areas such as water resources, natural disasters, and economics. It also seeks to elucidate the interactions between human activities and water resources through theoretical frameworks grounded in the observation and analysis of hydrological processes.

In addition to research, the successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, and contributing to various administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) upon taking up the post
• Original, internationally recognized achievements in relevant field
• A strong motivation and enthusiasm for education and research in Hydrology
• Ability to give lectures and supervise students in both Japanese and English

6. Five representative peer-reviewed original research papers and their abstracts (around 100 words each).
7. Aspirations for education and research (should be around 1,000 words). There are no strict format requirements for documents (5) to (7); however, please ensure that the font size is consistent, using 10 to 10.5 point font.
